The Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle assists Japanese nationals living in Washington, Montana, and Northern Idaho and works together with local communities to promote Japanese culture and facilitate a variety of exchanges. As the official representative of the Government of Japan in this region, the Consulate strives to strengthen bonds of mutual friendship and understanding between Japan and its neighbors in the Northwest. Please visit our table to learn more about working in Japan on the JET Program, Japanese government scholarships and cultural resources and outreach programs offered by the Consulate. We wish to provide information about our organization. We are seeking potential employees.

Musokai Iaido Club is a not-for-profit martial arts educational organization dedicated to promoting the Muso Shinden Ryu style of Iaido – Japanese Swordsmanship.
NOTE: The Musokai Iaido Club will not have a dedicated table; however, a representative will be attending the Networking Expo.

The Pacific Northwest JET Alumni Association (PNWJETAA) nurtures US-Japan relations in the Pacific Northwest region by supporting and engaging all stages of JET Program participants through community outreach and cultural education. We wish to provide information about our organization.

Perry Garvey has worn many hats professionally over the past decade and a half. His most current one is that of Ad Operations Manager (the evil guy who makes ads appear in your online content). Previously, Perry worked on projects that ranged from shooting promotional footage for the Empowerment Project, to programming an entirely new channel for IndieFlix on Roku devices.
NOTE: Perry will not have a dedicated booth at the Networking Expo because he will be lending Transitions his talent as our photographer! Take advantage of updating your profile picture by making an appointment with Perry for you private photo session during the Expo!
